The Department of Philosophy at Shaheed Kshudiram College embarked on its academic journey during the 2007-08 session, initially offering only the B.A. program course. A significant milestone was achieved in 2019 with the introduction of the Honours course, despite the modest enrollment of ten students against a seating capacity of 15. Amidst the vast landscape of this expansive college, where other departments boast hundreds of students, our philosophy department distinguishes itself by preserving the essence of a smaller, close-knit community.
