About the department

The Postgraduate Department of History at Saheed Kshudiram College was established on 23rd June 2024 under the esteemed affiliation of the University of North Bengal. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing quality education in history with the support of seven dedicated faculty members. The department boasts a well-equipped library, offering a wide range of resources to support both academic and research activities. Its state-of-the-art infrastructure provides an ideal environment for learning and scholarly pursuits. Notably, the department is proud to have three direct Research Supervisors, further enhancing its focus on advanced research and mentorship for postgraduate students.

This is a momentous occasion for our institution, marking a significant milestone in our academic journey, as we welcome this new chapter under the esteemed affiliation of the University of North Bengal.

Established on 23rd June 2024, this department is poised to become a center of excellence, thanks to our dedicated team of seven highly qualified faculty members, a state-of-the-art library, and top-tier infrastructure. We are particularly proud of the presence of three distinguished Research Supervisors, who will guide our students through the rigors of scholarly research, fostering academic inquiry and innovation.
