1. Eligibility

1.1 Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or an equivalent recognized by University of North Bengal. 1.2 Candidates must fulfil any specific subject / course eligibility criteria as notified by the College. 1.3 Submission of all required documents (mark-sheets, certificates, category certificates if any, etc.) is mandatory.

2. Application & Admission Process

2.1 Applicants must submit the filled application form (online / offline) before the deadline. 2.2 All information furnished by the applicant must be true, complete and accurate. If any information is found false or misleading, the College reserves the right to cancel the admission. 2.3 Admission will be offered strictly as per the merit / eligibility / category norms as notified by the College and University. 2.4 Applicants must accept the admission offer and complete required formalities (fee payment, document verification) within the stipulated timeframe.

3. Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

3.1 Admission will be confirmed only after payment of the prescribed fees, subject to verification of documents and eligibility. 3.2 Fees once paid are ordinarily non-refundable, unless otherwise specifically provided by the College’s refund policy. 3.3 Failure to pay the fee within the stipulated time will result in automatic cancellation of the admission offer.

4. Document Verification

4.1 Selected candidates must appear in person (or as notified) for document verification on a scheduled date at the College. 4.2 If any document is found invalid, forged, or non-compliant (e.g., false certificate, incorrect category claim), the admission will be cancelled. 4.3 Failure to appear for verification on the notified date without valid reason will lead to cancellation of the admission offer.

5. Attendance & Discipline

5.1 Students must maintain the minimum attendance requirement as prescribed by the University and the College. 5.2 Students are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the College regarding behaviour, decorum, classroom conduct and campus discipline (including the College’s anti-ragging policy). (saheedkshudiramcollege.ac.in) 5.3 Misconduct, indiscipline, ragging (in any form) or violation of College regulations may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.

6. Cancellation / Withdrawal of Admission

6.1 The College reserves the right to cancel a student’s admission if the student fails to comply with the terms of admission, or if eligibility is found to be invalid. 6.2 If a student chooses to withdraw the admission, the refund (if any) will be as per the College’s published refund/cancellation policy and subject to the deadlines and conditions therein. 6.3 Once classes have commenced and admission confirmed, the College may not entertain withdrawal or refund claims beyond the notified period.

7. Changes in Policy / Admission Schedule

7.1 The College reserves the right to modify the admission schedule, eligibility criteria, number of seats, fee structure and other conditions (including late dates) as may be necessary. 7.2 Such changes will be notified on the College website and via notices; candidates are expected to monitor the notices regularly.

8. Final Authority

8.1 The decision of the Principal and the Admission Committee of the College regarding eligibility, admission, cancellation, discipline, and all matters arising out of the admission process shall be final and binding on all applicants and students. 8.2 Any dispute arising from the admission process shall be subject to the jurisdiction of appropriate courts in West Bengal.
